Special Interest Safaris-> Water Rafting -Water Rafting at Ewaso Nyiro River
This tour combines white-water river and scenic river expeditions and starts from some 8 km, west of Barsalinga and continues for over 35km on continuous class II, III, IV rapids. You will be amazed by other several rapids of class V.
We will extend the trip to cover a further 100 km of the river. From the usual take out point near Kipsing, the rafting continues eastwards, through Samburu National Park, to Chandler Falls in Shaba National Park. Along the trip, you will see manyanimals as well as birdlife.

Our programs have a professional and experienced guide in every boat. A full river briefing before you set off, plus specific briefings before each set of major rapids.

Some of the items we recommend you bring are:

1. Shorts or swimming costume
2. Long sleeved shirt
3. A wide brimmed hat
4. A pair of fastenable shoes
5. Sunscreen of factor 25 or more.
6. personal toiletries
7. malarial prophylactics.

9. sun glasses with retainer cord
10. gloves
11. socks (anti sunburn).
12. A light nylon rain jacket
13. warm clothing to wear after the trip

For children under the age of 14, we will need consent from the parents. All participants should have well fitness and health.

While on the trip, we will accommodate you at a scenic point, either on the side of the river or upon a sand bank. Our tents are small 2-man dome types, and air beds and sleeping bags are provided. The food and drinks are stored in a freezer trailer.
