Day 1
Arrive in Nairobi as per your flight details. This city was once the home to many wild game like lions and rhinoceros. Its streets were the home to the game starting this century and masai grazed their cattle along the small river called the 'Enairobi'. This name meant 'cool' or 'cold'. Dinner and Overnight at Norfolk Hotel.

Day 2
After breakfast, we will depart for the Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. This snow-capped giant will be the backdrop for the next few days of safari through the Chyulu Hills and Tsavo West National Park. Dinner and Overnight at the campsite.

Day 3
Breakfast then start walking along the plains. Proceed to climb the rolling hills as temperature cools down. Dinner and Overnight at the campsite.

Day 5
After a last morning walk through the Chyulu Hills we head towards Tsavo West National Park in our vehicles. Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks combine to form one of the largest wildlife reserves in East Africa. We take advantage of our vehicles to explore these great expanses of biodiversity, open plains, bushy grasslands, mountains, lakes and forest. From our vehicles we can easily observe the wildlife, which are more at ease in the presence of a vehicle than a human being on foot. After an afternoon game drive we set up camp for the evening.

Day 6
We visit Mzima Springs the famous clear waters that are filtered by the surrounding volcanic mountains and home to crocodiles and hippopotamus. The water is crystal clear but swimming is strictly forbidden! From an underwater viewing tank we can observe the hippos paddling through the water. Heading along the Tsavo River and into Tsavo East National Park where again a change in vegetation and landscape determines the different animals we locate there. Afternoon game drive on the way to our camp.

Day 7
Two armed rangers who are to accompany our walks within the national park join us at the national park headquarters in Voi. Then we head toward Luggard Falls on the Galana River near where we camp the night. The Galana River is the major water supply for the wildlife of Tsavo East. And its sandy and rocky banks are home to resident populations of crocodiles and hippos. The Park Rangers share their intimate knowledge of the bush and show us how to read the almost invisible tracks left behind by the wildlife. The ranger bends down and picks up a broken piece of grass explaining that it was most likely an elephant that had passed this way and a young one at that as he points out the small round footprint. Further on the tracks of two lions send the Rangers into a flurry of advice on security measures to be obeyed if confronted by a lion. "Above all don't run even if charged by intimidation"- advice easier to heed than to practice if standing in direct line of a charging lion! We walk for two days along the river encountering the wildlife that depends on this lush and wild region of the Galana and Yatta Plateau and appreciating the wild beauty of an area void of human occupation.

Day 9
Passing through the park we head back by road to Nairobi where we are immediately confronted with the hustle and bustle of city life.

Day 10
Depending on your flight time, today you may have the opportunity to visit the curio market and shops in Nairobi. We can also arrange a lunch for you (at an extra cost) at the Carnivore restaurant, which is renowned for serving game meat. You will be transferred and assisted at the airport

Day 1
Arrival and transfer to your city hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Holiday Mayfair Inn or Norfolk Hotel

Day 2
After breakfast, drive down the steep escarpment of the Great Rift Valley and enter the floor of the valley as you proceed to masai mara gamae reserve. You will have game drive enroute as you search your best area to set up your tents. Finally, you arrive at the edge of a riverine forest near Talek. You will have your luch prepared by your personal chef. Afternoon game drive in the vast reserve as you search the big five. Warm yourselves around a fire prepared at your campsite. Enjoy a Dinner and Overnight at your campsite

Day 3
We will have an early breakfast, then depart for along game drive in the reserve. We will return to the camp for lunch, or we may depart with picnic lunches. This reserve is vast that you need to have game drives the whole day to see the unfolding of the wildlife. Dinner and Overnight at your campsite.

Day 4
We will have an early breakfast, and then depart for along game drive in the reserve. We will return to the camp for lunch, or we may depart with picnic lunches. This reserve is vast that you need to have game drives the whole day to see the unfolding of the wildlife. Dinner and Overnight at your campsite
Day 5
Today, we will have breakfast, and then depart for the heart of loita Hills via many masai villages. We will arrive at Alasur where will set up our tents. Dinner and Overnight at the campsite.
Day 6
Breakfast, then follow the edge of the Nguruman forest for 5 to 6 hours. Along the way, we will find some Colobus monkeys, gazelles and buffalos. Our trek will take us near the Tanzanian border. At this point, there appear open grasslands where there are several masai villages. We will camp at hilltop where we have views of the escarpment. Dinner and Overnight at the Campsite
Day 7
Breakfast, then trek towards the edge of the Great Rift Valley. Here, you wil see the Lake Magadi and Lake Natron some 1000 metres below. Ngong Hills will also be seen. Dinner and Overnight at the Campsite

Day 8
Breakfast, then we will start trekking down the escarpment towards Lake Natron. As you trek, you will notice that the vegetation is different and you will be attracted to one of the most ancient plants of East Africa called the cycad "Encephalartos Bibalensis". We will arrive at an open savanna scrubland at  600 meters above sea level where gazelles, wildebeests, giraffes and zebras graze. We will cross the semi-desert landscape and arrive at Pakasi River. This river fees the fertile delta area of Ole Sinjaye before getting to Lake Natron. This area is rich in millet and bananas. Dinner and Overnight at the campsite
Day 9
Breakfast, and then depart for the open plains of Natron. Diner and Overnight at the campsite

Day 10
Breakfast, and then depart for the cultivated delta of the Pakasi and onto the hot salt plains of Lake Natron, as we cross an area of moist clay and white soda. We will continue to the massive rock "Shompole". We will see many flocks of flamingos across the lake. We will continue to the shores of Lake Magadi. After being at the lake for some hours, we will drive back to Nairobi. Dinner and Overnight at Mayfair Holiday Inn or New Stanley
Day 11
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight. If your flight is in the evening, we will arrange for a day room in the hotel.
